The Stop Hunger Group was formed in 2009, with the aim to stop hunger in the world. Lofty ambitions? Yes. Achievable - by this group no, but by a little effort, and with others around the world joining in a similar cause, it is possible that one day there can be no one going hungry in the world. Let's all do our little bit, and at least see if we can make a difference.

Why The Butterfly?

Did you notice that our logo is a butterfly? Not only is it a good image to make out of the initials of our group name (SHG), it also represents what can be achieved through good nutrition. Given the provision of adequate amounts of feed, the caterpillar can grow into a beautiful butterfly, free to play a valuable role in the world.
